Reasons For Pulling An All-Nighter

Although 24 hours in one day might sound quite a bit for some people, others might disagree. Besides, one-third of that time on average is used for sleeping. Many believe that it is possible to get everything that needs to be done, finished in one day. Others however, will disagree.

Believe it or not, most people who pull all nighters are people who lack time management. For example, students who believe it's necessary to cram for their exams. Had they been allocating time throughout the entire semester to prepare for the exams, they would be able to sleep early enough on the day before the exam and not have to pull an all nighter in order to cram for it.

Unfortunately, life is not always fair to several students especially those who have to get part-time jobs so they can help their parents with their financial situation. These students have to go to school early in the morning, head to work right after, and then return home in the evening and the hours spent at work took all their homework time. This leads them to pull necessary all nighters to get their homework done for the next school day.

Similarly, some office workers are given a pile of work to do at the beginning of the week and stall until the night before the work needs to be handed to their boss. They've basically placed themselves in a position where they have no choice but to stay up all night and get the work done by the following morning.

On the other hand, hard workers who gets their work done on time every day might meet difficult times when they're either given more work than they can handle or something can go wrong out of the blue that causes their work to pile up.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter whether you were practically asking for it or not. It happens to the most of us, of all walks of life; whether you're insane or if you've got your head on your shoulders. It just happens sometimes, that's all.
